How to measure Charts of all brands

Quick answers

EU, UK or US?

The numbers follow different systems, and no conversion is right for every brand. That is why we show the size from the brand's own chart, measured in centimetres.

Brand charts

Kids: how much room to grow?

For kids, go at most one size above what the chart says. More room makes shoes slip and sleeves get in the way.

Between two sizes?

Check the brand's chart first, then try them on with the socks you hike in. Going downhill, your toes must not hit the front.

Does the brand run small?

We only say so when the manufacturer states it; their note is on the brand's page. Otherwise the chart applies.

To the brands

Women's or men's fit?

Women's models are cut differently, often narrower at the heel or shoulders. If the other fit suits you better, use its chart; the finder shows both.

Where do my measurements go?
