Slalom Challenge Sölden

Terms of participation and privacy

Prize competition from 23 October 2026, 12:00 noon, until 28 October 2026, 11:59 pm CET. The three fastest times win.

Terms of participation

1. Organiser

The organiser is TouriSpo GmbH & Co. KG (SportFits brand), Ebenäcker 2a, 94121 Salzweg, Germany, registered at the Local Court of Passau under HRA 12412. The general partner is TouriSpo GmbH, Local Court of Passau, HRB 8347, represented by its managing directors Martin Bauer and Florian Weis.

This campaign is not connected to, sponsored or endorsed by any social network.

2. Period

You can take part from Friday, 23 October 2026, 12:00 noon, until Wednesday, 28 October 2026, 11:59 pm, Central European Time (Berlin time). Clocks change from summer time to winter time on 25 October 2026; Berlin time always applies. Times count if they reach us within this period.

3. Who can take part

Anyone aged 18 or over whose place of residence is in a country that sportfits.eu delivers to can take part, except Germany and Austria: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Residents of Germany and Austria take part in the separate German-language competition on magazin.sportfits.de and magazin.sportfits.at. No purchase is necessary, taking part is free of charge and you do not need a customer account. Each person may only take part with one email address.

Employees of TouriSpo GmbH & Co. KG and its affiliated companies, employees of participating partners and their relatives are excluded. Entries made via competition services, competition clubs or automated entries are also excluded.

4. How to take part

The Slalom Challenge is a game of skill in the SportFits magazine on magazine.sportfits.eu. You ski a section of the World Cup course on the Rettenbach glacier. A series has three runs, and the best time of the series counts. Your time is your run time plus three seconds for each missed gate.

You can play without registering and as often as you like. You enter the prize competition by submitting your best time after a series, together with your email address, your acceptance of these terms and your confirmation that you are at least 18 years old. You can also enter a player name for the leaderboard (3 to 16 characters); this is optional.

5. Ranking

With each email address you can submit one time on each calendar day of the period (Central European Time). Your fastest time submitted during the whole period counts.

The three people with the fastest times win. This competition has its own ranking, separate from the competition for Germany and Austria. If two people have the same time, the person who submitted it first ranks higher; the time it reaches our server is decisive.

Only the time skied decides the places. There is no prize draw.

6. Checking runs, manipulation and exclusion

Only a time that can actually be achieved in the game counts. When you submit it, we check technically whether the series was started properly in the game, whether all split times are present in the right order and at plausible intervals, whether penalty seconds and total time match and whether the time is not below the shortest possible run time. A time that fails this check does not count.

After the end, we also review the runs in the winning places before awarding the prizes.

Anyone who manipulates the game or the entry, for example with scripts, control programs, altered game data or several email addresses, will be excluded from the campaign. This also applies retrospectively; a prize already awarded can then be withdrawn and reclaimed. The place goes to the next fastest person.

If you think a time was wrongly not counted, write to us (contact in section 13). We will look into it.

7. Prizes

The prizes are SportFits shopping vouchers: 1st place receives €100, 2nd place €75 and 3rd place €50.

The voucher is valid at sportfits.eu. It is valid for twelve months from issue and is redeemed with one order; any unused balance will not be paid out. A cash payment, exchange or transfer of the prize to another person is not possible.

8. Determining and notifying the winners

After the end, we determine the winners from all valid times and check the runs (section 6). We will notify them by 4 November 2026 exclusively by email to the address provided. Before issuing the voucher we may ask you to confirm your place of residence and age.

Anyone who does not reply within 14 days of our email or does not meet the conditions loses their claim; the next fastest person then moves up. We send the voucher by email. We do not publish the names of winners.

9. Leaderboard

The leaderboard shows the current standings of this competition: place, player name, time and day, with only the best time per email address. Without a player name you do not appear on the list but are still ranked. The decisive ranking for the prizes is the one determined after the end (section 8); because entries without a player name are missing and runs are still checked, it may differ from the list.

Your player name must not contain an email address, a web address, other people's real names or anything offensive or unlawful. We remove player names that break these rules from the list. You can have your player name removed at any time (contact in section 13).

10. Data protection

We only use your details to run the campaign, show the leaderboard, determine and notify the winners and prevent misuse. Your entry data will be deleted or anonymised three months after the end of the campaign.

Everything else, including your rights, is set out in the privacy notice for the Slalom Challenge on this page and in the privacy policy of sportfits.eu.

11. Liability and technical faults

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential obligation whose fulfilment makes running the campaign possible in the first place, and only for the foreseeable, typical damage.

We do our best to make sure the game and the entry work at all times, but we cannot guarantee this. Within the limits of the previous paragraph, we accept no liability for times that are lost or cannot be submitted due to technical faults, connection problems, slow devices or deleted browser storage.

12. Changes and early termination

We may change, interrupt or end the campaign early for good cause, for example if it can no longer be run properly for technical or legal reasons or if manipulation threatens its fairness. If the campaign ends early, we will rank the times validly submitted up to that point, unless they are themselves affected by the manipulation.

We publish changes to these terms on this page; they do not apply retrospectively to your disadvantage.

13. Final provisions and contact

Your statutory rights, for example in the event of errors in running the campaign, remain unaffected.

German law applies. If you take part as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.

Questions about the campaign: service@sportfits.de. Questions about data protection: datenschutz@tourispo.com.

Privacy notice

This notice explains which data we process for the Slalom Challenge, for what purpose and for how long. The privacy policy of sportfits.eu also applies.

1. Who is responsible

TouriSpo GmbH & Co. KG (SportFits brand), Ebenäcker 2a, 94121 Salzweg, Germany, represented by TouriSpo GmbH, itself represented by its managing directors Martin Bauer and Florian Weis. Email: service@sportfits.de.

Our data protection officer: Andrea Berger, Ebenäcker 2a, 94121 Salzweg, Germany, phone +49 (0)851-2042410, datenschutz@tourispo.com.

2. Playing without taking part

You can play the Slalom Challenge without registering. We only store your best times and your best run as a shadow in your browser (local storage) so that you can see them again on your next visit. These times only reach us when you submit them for the prize competition. This storage is strictly necessary for the game you call up yourself (Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG); no consent is required for it. You can delete the times at any time by deleting the website data in your browser.

During the prize competition, the game retrieves a start ID from our server at the beginning of each series. It only records when the series started and contains no information about you. Your IP address is transmitted for technical reasons. We do not store it; instead we create an encrypted ID from it and the date, which we use to limit the number of requests per period. We delete this ID after two days at the latest.

The general privacy policy applies to your visit to the magazine itself (server logs, consent for cookies and statistics).

3. Which data we process when you take part

– your email address, plus a standardised spelling of it (lower case, without additions) to detect multiple entries on the same day – your game result: total time, run time, split times, missed gates, penalty time and start time of the series – your player name for the leaderboard, if you enter one – time of entry, ranking day and market (Europe, based on the magazine address you use) and the page on which you took part – your consents (terms of participation with age confirmation) – the encrypted ID against misuse from section 2, also when you submit – for winners, also the details we need to hand over the prize (email correspondence, voucher issued, confirmation of residence and age if applicable)

We do not ask for your name.

4. Purposes and legal bases

– Running the prize competition (ranking, checking runs, determining and notifying the winners, sending the prize, leaderboard with your player name): Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because you accept the terms of participation by taking part. You cannot take part without an email address and game result; the player name is optional. – Protection against misuse and manipulation (start ID, limiting requests, checking game results): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a fair competition in which automated or faked times have no chance. – Statutory retention of the records relating to the prize vouchers issued (voucher code, value, date, email address) as accounting records: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB).

5. Checking game results

When you submit a time, an automated procedure first checks whether it counts (proper start, complete split times in the correct order, minimum time). If a time fails the check, it does not count. A person also reviews the runs in the winning places before the prizes are awarded. You can ask for a person to look at your case as well and to put forward your point of view; to do so, write to service@sportfits.de.

6. Public leaderboard

Only if you enter a player name does it appear publicly on the leaderboard with your place, time and day. We never show your email address or other details. If you do not want to be recognised, choose a player name that does not allow any conclusions about you. You can have your player name removed at any time.

7. Who receives your data

We use service providers who only process your data on our instructions (processing on behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR):

– database and server of the campaign: Supabase via Lovable Cloud, data centre in the EU (Ireland) – hosting and delivery of the magazine: Lovable (Sweden) with the Cloudflare network – sending the winner notification by email: our email system Mailer Base with the delivery service Mailgun (EU region)

Cloudflare and Mailgun belong to companies based in the USA. Even though the data is processed in the EU, access from the USA cannot be ruled out. For this we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) and additionally on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

You redeem the voucher in our shop; the privacy policy of the shop applies there. Your data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

8. How long we store your data

– Entry data (email address, game results, player name, times, consents): until three months after the end of the campaign, i.e. until 28 January 2027. After that, it is automatically deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you. – The encrypted ID against misuse: two days at most. – Data of winners: three months after notification or for as long as handing over the prize requires. We keep the records relating to the vouchers issued as accounting records for eight years (Section 147 AO, Section 257 HGB) and use them for nothing else. – We remove your player name from the leaderboard immediately on request, otherwise together with the other entry data. – You delete the local storage in your browser yourself.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). If you delete your entry data before the winners are determined, you will no longer be ranked.

To exercise your rights, write to datenschutz@tourispo.com or service@sportfits.de.

10. Complaints to a supervisory authority

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country in which you live. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

11. No advertising without consent

You receive the winner notification because it is part of the campaign. We will not send you any other advertising by email as part of this campaign.
