Iceland
Wind off the coast
This autumn Fjällräven photographed the Expedition collection on the coast of Iceland, between black sand, lava rock and the first snow. Up there the hood is usually up.

Canada
Damp and cold in the forest
In British Columbia the shoot went into the rainforest and along riverbeds. This is where it shows why the Expedition jackets have synthetic insulation at the shoulders: it stays warm even when wet.

From Örnsköldsvik into the cold
Åke Nordin founded Fjällräven in 1960 in Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden; the name means arctic fox. Fourteen years later came the Expedition Down Jacket. It was born after a night in a snow cave in which Nordin had been freezing, and it is still built on the same principle today.
