Scoot and Ride: the scooter that grows with your child

Award-winning 2-in-1 children's ride-ons from Austria, for children from their first year through to school age. Now at SportFits.

New at SportFits: Scoot and Ride

Most children's ride-ons come with an expiry date: eventually, little ones outgrow them. Scoot and Ride took a different approach. The Austrian manufacturer develops ride-ons, scooters and kickboards that adapt to a child's motor development, from nursery age to primary school.

SportFits now offers Scoot and Ride vehicles for children from one year old, along with matching helmets.

From Grieskirchen to 55 countries

The Highwaykick 1 Push and Go: the 2-in-1 flagship model that made Scoot and Ride well known.

Behind Scoot and Ride are three Austrian entrepreneurs: Wolfgang, Robert and Christian, who asked a simple question in Grieskirchen in 2012: Why buy a new vehicle for every stage of a child’s development? Their answer was the Highwaykick principle: a scooter that converts from a ride-on to a kickboard with one simple movement, covering several age groups in one product.

The concept quickly gained recognition. In 2013, the brand won the ISPO Brandnew Award, followed by the Red Dot Design Award in 2014 and the toy award at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2015. That same year, it appeared on the Austrian start-up show 2 Minuten 2 Millionen. Today, children in more than 55 countries ride Scoot and Ride.

The core idea remains the same: a children’s product should be usable for as long as possible. Height-adjustable handlebars, no PVC and spare parts for every model: Scoot and Ride supports children throughout their childhood, not just for one season.

The range at SportFits

All Scoot and Ride products are certified in accordance with the EU Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC) and EN71. Every model features rounded edges in exposed areas, while the Highwaykick also has a Safety Pad to help prevent forward tipping, so children can get moving safely from the start. The range grows with your child, step by step:
