New at Scott · 23 October 2026

Felix Neureuther now skis with Scott. It started with his parents.

Rosi Mittermaier and Christian Neureuther skied with Scott poles. Now their son is the brand's ambassador. Here is his kit for this winter, and who it suits.

"I'm ready. All that's missing now is the snow." That is how Felix Neureuther announces his winter in Scott's press release of 23 October 2026. Scott has signed the former German ski racer as a brand ambassador for several years: on skis in winter, on the bike in summer. The brand announced it one day before the World Cup opener in Sölden.

Three moments

From a ski pole to a family story

1958: Scott started with a single product, an aluminium ski pole. Its founder Ed Scott was a skier in Sun Valley, Idaho.

The parents: Rosi Mittermaier and Christian Neureuther skied with Scott poles. At Scott, the history of the poles now hangs on the wall as a poster, and Felix sits right in front of it in the photo.

2026: Their son becomes an ambassador. He skis with Scott in winter and rides with Scott in summer.

What are you missing?

The freeride jacket in three-layer GORE-TEX with a RECCO reflector. For long days off-piste when you don't want to head for the hut at every shower.

Goggle Neo and Element Pro Mips

Goggles and helmet from one brand

Felix wears the Goggle Neo with the Element Pro Mips. According to Scott, the helmet has its own vent to stop the goggles fogging up. The goggles add an anti-fog coating and a wide silicone strap that stays put on the helmet.

What matters is that there is no gap between the goggle frame and the helmet at your forehead. That is where you get cold first on the chairlift. So try the goggles on with your own helmet, even if it is from another brand.

Editorial

Who the kit suits

Strong at

  • Freeride and long days off-piste: that is what the Vertic GTX 3L is built for, with RECCO, vents and a powder skirt.
  • Helmet and goggles for piste and off-piste: MIPS and RECCO in the helmet, goggles with a wide field of view.

Not the focus

  • Piste days with breaks in the hut: the Vertic works, but a lighter and cheaper jacket is often enough.
  • If you only ski a few days a year: for one or two weeks of ski holiday, this is an expensive kit.

Our take: Höhenmeter editorial team, October 2026. Based on Scott's press release of 23 October 2026 and the product descriptions at SportFits.
