Montura Vertigo & Workframe: Searching for a new way
Mountain equipment from Italy for everyone searching for new ways – the Vertigo and Workframe collections in focus.
Montura comes from Italy, specifically from Zané near Vicenza, not far from the Dolomites. The brand's claim: “Searching for a new way”. The mission behind it: mountain equipment for everyone searching for new ways – on the mountain just as much as in the development of the equipment itself. Two collections are in focus: Vertigo for mountaineering and climbing, Workframe for workwear and safety wear in the mountains.

Mountaineering — Climbing
Vertigo: mountaineering and climbing
The Vertigo collection is designed for technical mountaineering and climbing. Its centrepiece is the Vertigo GTX Pro Jacket with a GORE-TEX Pro ePE membrane: waterproof, breathable and, according to the manufacturer, with a PFAS-free finish – without the fluorochemicals that used to be common in coatings. Alongside it, the Vertigo Light 2 Pants as a lightweight addition. This is deliberately not an everyday jacket: cut and features are designed for climbing harnesses, backpack straps and freedom of movement on rock, not for the commute to work.

Workwear — Safety Wear
Workframe: workwear and safety wear for the mountain world
Workframe is Montura's workwear and safety wear collection for everyone who works in the mountains. That fits the brand's history: Montura has its roots in Italian mountain rescue teams, and that closeness is still visible today – for example through the Montura Pro programme for mountain guides, ski instructors and rescue personnel. First models such as the Operator CE 2.0 Jacket and the Operator Basic 2.0 Vest are already listed at SportFits – currently available individually, not yet as a dedicated collection page.

Where Montura comes from
Behind Montura is Tasci S.r.l., founded in Rovereto in 1999 by Roberto Giordani. Since 2010 the company has been based in Zané near Vicenza, not far from the Dolomites. From there, Montura supplies both people who head into the mountains in their free time and professionals for whom more is at stake on the mountain than a wet jacket: mountain guides, ski instructors, rescue services.
