Frequently asked questions
Bib trousers or regular ski trousers?
Bib trousers keep your back warm and stop snow getting into the waistband when you fall in deep snow. Trousers with a waistband are quicker to put on and take off. Bib trousers are especially useful for children and freeriding.
How much hydrostatic head do ski trousers need?
10,000 mm is usually enough for days on the piste. If you ski in deep snow or spend a lot of time sitting in the snow, choose 20,000 mm and taped seams.
Why do ski trousers have edge guards?
Ski edges can cut into the hem when walking and skiing. A reinforced panel on the inside of the leg protects the trousers from this.
